Snowy Mountains Monopoly Edition

SERVICE ONE Mutual is developing a new Snowy Mountains edition of the classic board game Monopoly raising funds for local charities

On 14th October 2024, SERVICE ONE Mutual Ltd announced it is sponsoring a unique Snowy Mountains edition of the iconic Monopoly board game, set to go on sale in time for the 2025 ski season. This exciting initiative aims to promote the breathtaking Snowy Mountains region and strengthen the local community ties that the Mutual has nurtured for decades.

In line with the Mutual’s vision to give back to local communities,  a portion of the proceeds from game sales will be donated to local charities, including Community Chest Cooma, Snowy Mountains Wildlife Rescue (known locally as LAOKO), and ski patrols.

‘We believe the game will be a great asset for the region, showcasing all it has to offer both local people and the many visitors who will play the game beside a cosy fire after a day on the slopes’ Ivan said.

Thank you for your support

We’re thrilled with the success of the Snowy Mountains Monopoly project. Thanks to the incredible support of local residents, businesses, and visitors to the region, we’ve been able to donate $36,000 to local charities through the project, including The Community Chest Cooma, Snowy Mountains Wildlife Rescue (LAOKO), and ski patrols.

With almost all games now sold, online sales have now closed. However, a limited number of games may still be available at our Community Bank Cooma - Bendigo Bank branch, or through selected partner outlets including the Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre, Rhythm Snowsports, and Thredbo Resort.

Thank you for the overwhelming interest and support shown for this initiative. We’re now turning our attention to the Eurobodalla – South Coast edition, and we’d love to continue the momentum. If you’re interested in getting involved, please get in touch!
